New Sapphire Tech Radeon 5770

Yesterday evening my dad and I got to install the new Radeon 5770 graphics card in our htpc. We were really suprised by the size of the card when we fist looked at it. It is nearly the length of the motherboard and just fit inside the case. Anyways we were previously running the onboard radeon 3300 video, and after booting up the system, updating the software and drivers, it was easy to see the improvement gained from the upgrade. The most marked improvement was shown when I started up the Sims 3 and ran it at full high quality at a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It was really spectacular, the detail gained from low to high at that resolution. At this moment right now I'm working on trying to overclock our AMD Phenom X4 9950 Black Edition CPU from the stock 2.6ghz. The best I've gotten it to so far is 2.9ghz with more testing to be done. In my next post I'll include an update on my progress and some pics of the rig and screenshots. See ya in a minute!
